According to Cambridge Dictionary, the word success is "the achievement of desired results, or someone or something that achieves positive results", but I consider that it depends on what your beliefs are, it depends on your roots, on your education, your way of life. Maybe for you to be successful is to have a lot of money, or to get the last fashionable clothes, to complete your favorite video game, to have a lot of money, to buy the best car in town, to be admired by everyone, to get the ultimate piece of technology, or to be considered as the best in your branch of knowledge.
For me, being a successful person is more than that, being a successful person is having the opportunity to share your happiness with others, especially with the ones around you, your family, your loved ones, being successful is having the opportunity to enjoy what you do, is the ability to work in what you love (I mean, not working, enjoying what to do for a living), how do I know if I enjoy what I am doing? (Well, that's another topic for another forum...), you just have to remember and make a balance on what you are doing, if you feel that you are happy in all the aspects of your life (even with the bad moments), you can say that you are a SUCCESSFUL PERSON. What does success mean to you?
